Gas line installation and repair covers a new line for a range, a dryer, a fireplace or a heater, and repair of a fitting that is seeping. If you smell gas, leave the house and call the gas utility first, then call us for the repair once the area is safe. We do not light pilots or open a line until it holds. Water piping in the same trench is a different scope. See repiping and water lines if the job is the water service.
A gas line is not a place to discover the scope after the wall is open. We look at the meter, the run and the appliance, then quote it. If the existing pipe will not support another appliance, we say that before we sell the line. The same crew does the water side of the house. For a heater that will not fire, start with water heaters or call (425) 426-6747.
What homeowners ask before we open a gas line.
No. Leave the house, do not use switches, and call your gas utility or 911. Call us after the utility has made the area safe and you need the line repaired.
Yes, when the meter and the existing piping can supply it. If they cannot, the quote will say what has to change. We will not tap a line that is already undersized and hope.
Yes. The connector, the valve and the sediment trap are part of a heater job when they need it. See water heater repair for the heater itself.
Yes. The shop is in Bothell, and we work across King and Snohomish Counties and Surrounding Areas, including Lynnwood, Edmonds, Kenmore, Mill Creek, Everett, Mukilteo, Seattle, Bellevue and Shoreline. Call (425) 426-6747 to confirm your address. We do not open a local office in those cities.
