The drip you see is not always the leak. Water runs along a pipe, a joist or the outside of a boot and shows up somewhere else. We trace it, shut the right valve and repair the fitting, the supply or the section of pipe that failed. If the rest of the line is the same age and the same condition, we will say when a repipe is the better spend.
